Sardines may not be everyone’s cup of tea but they are a pretty good fish for you while on keto. High in protein, calcium and omega-3 fatty acids and healthy fats, these delicious little fishes are also low in mercury and metal content and a great source of vitamin B12 and vitamin D.
Those who have never tried sardines fried in olive oil often have a hard time believing just how good they can be.

Ingredients (1 serving)
1 can (3.5 oz or 100 g each) sardines in olive oil
5 black olives, sliced
1 Tablespoon (6 g) garlic flakes
1 teaspoon (1 g) parsley flakes
1 Tablespoon (15 ml) olive oil, to cook with
Directions
1. Add the tablespoon of olive oil to the frying pan and fry everything together for 5 minutes.
